Cougar Grapplers Claim Third at Wyandotte Invitational

A very young Cougar wrestling team, comprised of mainly freshmen and sophomores battled to a third place finish at the Wyandotte Invitational on Saturday . Cougars win home opener.

The varsity boys basketball team won their home opener against Turner on Friday night 71 – 35.  The Cougars were led by a pair of sophomores.  Damar’e Smith scored a game high 25 points and Landon Wagler added 16 points to lead the way.  The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday at home

Boys Swim Kicks Off Season at New Aquatic Center

The boys swim team will kick off the 2019-2020 season at the new Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center this Saturday at 11:30am.  The Cougars will face off against the four other Shawnee Mission schools.  Led by captains Scott Klein, Brian Harrell, and Alex Savinkov, the team will look to build on last year’s accomplishments. 

Basketball Season Opens Tonight at Home

The 2019-2020 basketball season opens with a double dip as the Lady Cougars and men’s team are both in action this evening. The Lady Cougars, ranked in the top 10 of the 6A Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, will try and get off on the right track when they tip against the Golden Bears from Turner. 

Bowling Team Announced

Congratulations to the following bowlers who made the 2020 team. We will have a team meeting in room 153 after school on  Friday 12/6 for approximately 30 minutes. There is a player/parent meeting on Wednesday 12/11 at 7:00 pm in the library.

Basketball time change for Friday

There are several time changes for the boys basketball games on Friday night.  The JV boys will play at 4:00 in the main gym and the freshmen A boys team will play at 5:30 in the auxiliary gym.  The varsity boys will still play at 7:00 in the main gym.
